Application Information

WHEN ENROLLING CHILDREN, Maple Leaf Children's Center, INC., DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE ON THE BASIS OF RACE, SKIN COLOR, GENDER, NATIONAL ORIGIN, RELIGION, ETHNICITY, OR A PARENTS SEXUAL ORIENTATION.

1. Complete your application form and return it with a $25 deposit. This fee will be applied towards your tuition once your child has enrolled. The deposit is fully refundable if we are notified in advance that you no longer want to enroll your child. Otherwise, the fee is retained by Maple Leaf.

2. Arrange to visit Maple Leaf with your child to meet with the staff and become better acquainted with our program. This is very important and should be done before your child enrolls.

3. If there is space available we will proceed to enroll your child. Otherwise, your child's name will be placed on our waiting list and you will be notified as soon as there is an opening.

4. If we contact you and you do not wish to enroll your child until a later date, your place on our waiting list will remain unchanged.

Maple Leaf is open Monday - Friday and offers these four time slots each day:

ALL DAY ( 8am - 5pm ), SCHOOL HOURS ( 8am - 3pm ), MORNINGS ( 8am - 1pm ), AFTER SCHOOL ( 3-5pm ).
If there is sufficient need, we will also pick-up children after kindergarten on Fridays at 11:30am.
Pre-school aged children must attend at least three mornings per week and be two years old by the beginning of the school year for which they enroll.

Your child's place on our waiting list is determined by the date your application and deposit are received, not the date on your check. In addition, chronological position on the list does not accurately reflect your child's chances of being enrolled. Other important factors are your child's age and the days you want your child to attend. We guarantee that we will contact you as soon as space becomes available, but please call at any time with questions or to advise us of changes in the information on your application form, i.e. phone numbers, addresses, or the days you want to send your child.

Maple Leaf Children's Center is a non-profit corporation wiht a Board of Directors comprised mainly of parent volunteers. We also rely on parents tp volunteer occasionally during the year in various other capacities.
